Jean-Luc Colombo 'Les Collines de Laure', Syrah, Cornas
Les Collines de Laure (Laure’s Hills) is approachable, but sensual and
produced from youthful Syrah vines, some of which are destined for
Cornas at their coming of age. Its structure makes for ‘easy’ drinking,
but at the same time its origins place it in the same style as its
illustrious Northern Rhône neighbours.
A brilliant ruby colour. Nose: The nose displays a wide range of small
ripe red fruits with spicy undertones. Palate: Round on the palate and
full of freshness. Fine tannins make it a harmonious and balanced wine.
