Passion for terroir took Michel Chapoutier south to Roussillon where he bought land in the village of Latour de France. Domaine de Bila-Haut is farmed both organically and bio-dynamically. The wine is a deep garnet red with aromas of black cherry. The palate is fleshy, well-structured with the warm subtle hints of soils of the Roussillon area.
