Baroncini 'Panezio', Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG
Appealing aromas of cherry, plum and red berry fruits. On the palate
food friendly tannins are balanced by ripe cherry and red berry
characters, and a touch of spice.
The Baroncini family have over five centuries of wine-making history.
Today, overseen by Bruna Baroncini, the company produces authentic
classics from Tuscany, including thePodere Torre Terza estate in San
Gimignano. They alsosource the Il Faggeto wines from Montepulciano.
The Sangiovese grapes are harvested when fully ripe and fermented using
selected yeasts. A long maceration follows fermentation. The wine
spends two months in barrel to add further complexity before being
